Yesterday the selections were poor and ran no sort of races, the less said about them the better. Onto today and hoping to finish the week on a positive note today.

This horse has run in 7f races so far and has shown little to nothing to suggest he can win a race finishing several lengths behind the winner in each of them. However, today he is running at 10f which should suit a lot more and off a lowly mark of 66 makes plenty of appeal to me. The trainer has a good record fresh (horses returning after a break of 60+ days) at 15% and a 9% SR with first-time handicappers.
3:25 Lingfield
Odyssey Girl 10/1 (widely available 1/5 for 4 places) 1pt ew
This horse has been running well in her past couple of races and has excelled at Lingfield with a win and a place from her 2 runs. Both of them had been over 7f and suggested the step up in trip today should suit. The trainer boasts a 21% SR at the course over the past year and looks set to add to the tally with odyssey this afternoon.
