Before I go into the picks I just wanted to share a true story from Monday.
I have Sky, and for a while now I couldn’t record if watching another channel, but I have put up with it. If I tried to change the channel it would disappear and I would get the no signal received message. The football was on Mon evening and the women on the LPGA were on the other channel and I wanted to record that. So I blew a fuse and called 150 (your provider – or so I thought).
It went something like this and a facepalm moment;
“Hello welcome to Virgin my name is Cherie how can I help u” there was a clue there and I missed it
Me: “Hi Cherie, your box (hahahah) is not doing what it’s supposed to, I cant record channels whilst I watch others”
Next up was the annoying account verification process – I passed????
Cherie : “Tell me what error message you are getting on the screen”
I read it out, Me “Your Sky+ box is not getting a satellite signal rahraharah”
Cherie “Did you Say Sky?”
Me; ” Yes” The penny has dropped at this stage ffs, WHAT A TWAT
Cherie “Sir, you have called the wrong company this is Virgin”
At this point I felt like saying I can fix that for for you! but what I actually said was ” yes thanks, I’ll call Sky”
Anyway onto the overnighters eh, and remember before any smart arse takes the piss, you are following me lol
