Evening Guys
Writing this in response to a tweet from @Winingscores that questioned, why I do not post some of my personal Inplay bets after tweeting myself that the City game treated me well. I could not respond or explain in a tweet as 140 characters is too short so i said I would put it up here.
To clarify I landed 01.5 FHG @ 3.5 (3 pts), Aguero over 2 goals @ 8.0 (3pts) and o4.5 goal line @ 5.25 (2pts).
Firstly I am sharing my Inplay bets in the hope that you will see some patterns and hopefully be able to identify these and place them yourselves. There’s only one of me so I cannot cover every game and every line. I think this is working from what some of you have tweeted me on games I am not even looking at.
I am also trying to be socially and morally responsible to followers and only put out a few picks a day so that you are not spreading yourself thin, or lowering your stake to cover all the bets advised.
Yes, I have heard the argument, just post all you get on and it’s up to us whether we follow or not. I don’t think that works for the majority as there are too many people out there that have not learnt bankroll management.
Looking at tonight’s game. The first half goal line I got on past 40 minutes, City had already had 2 pens missed and were by far the better team. Asking you to place with only 4 minutes to run would not have been appropriate in my eyes. Similarly the same can be said for the overs total placed in the 87th, too little time to expect you to get on with any real commitment, and in this case they scored before I could have probably got it out anyway.
However in saying that they both won, yes City were by far the better side and I could see another goal in each of the halves even though I did not have the historical stats to back it up. That along with the above shortness of time is one of the reasons for not posting. I like to be able to post something that has a statistically better chance of landing compared to where the line currently is.
As for Aguero, it was only one of the three that would have been worth posting. He’d missed 2 pens, was in the better side, the stand out attacker and would have been determined to make amends under a new manager. Hindsight is perfect and looking back this was worth a tweet.
As was him netting a hat-trick, but I wasn’t on that one. Hindsight, eh.
Stay lucky Guys
Mark
