Evening All
A very, very quiet month but we turned some profit. Just the 14 bets advised and 2 of those were Inplays. Must be the quietest month since I started posting my bets publicly 4 years ago. Yep, July 2014 was when I set up the Twitter for thetippingtimes, and, it feels like it’s gone quickly. This is the 4th PL report for 2018.
Overall
Just the 14 bets advised and 12.5 points staked in total, we ended with 10.8pts profit for an ROI of 86%. So a daily average of 0.46 picks per day! Yes, I have been too busy to study the markets consistently. Long-term followers will know I do not share bets for the sake of it.
Of the 14 bets 2 of those were inplays 1 won and 1 lost. Of the pregame picks, we saw a similar ratio to the Inplays, 6 winners, 6 losers, in other terms 50% strike rate. That may be lower than what you are used to following other football bettors, but with the average odds being 4.15 it still provided decent returns.
That Strike Rate is up 20% from the previous month although the average odds are down by around 0.5.
Markets
In terms of the type of winners, all the Inplays as expected were on the second-half goal line with 1 winner and 1 loss with average odds of 4.57. For the pregames, there were a few winning markets, with a strong bias to the win lines.
4 were, were win-line, doubles or trebles. This follows a similar pattern to the previous months where most of the winners were win line picks. The other 2 that came in were an MGSH treble and an Overs treble.
In Summary
It was good to back up last month’s profit despite it being a very quiet month.
