Expanding – The Blog now comes with sports forums

Evening All

The website continues to move forward for the punters as a betting resource. As of this evening, the forums are now live. There may be some niggles in the early stages but they should work out OK. As long-term followers will know I predominantly play the footy markets.

However, there is a huge wealth of knowledge from followers on other sports. With a summer of sport approaching this is an ideal time to launch the forums. F1 starts tomorrow, and the flat season is upon us. Add to that the Masters is just around the Amen Corner with a summer of golf ahead.

They cover lot’s of different sports from Basketball to UFC. I am going to run this in parallel with the community project and see which version is better for us punters. The thing with mass team messaging apps is that picks can get lost in all the messages. So I’d like to see how this forum approach works as I think it could be a better platform to find the plays you like. Also, unlike the community, there is no application process, it is open to all.

As it stands these are the current Forums;

If you just want to share your thoughts, that would be very welcomed! There is no expectation that this is just “Tipsters”. 99% of tipsters are just like you and me, they have a full-time job and a family and tip as a hobby. It may also be a good platform to grow your following for those accounts interested. The blog now gets > 100k pageviews a month, so if any budding/established tipsters may get increased visibility. Sharing is caring, after all. Punter v Bookie.

Even though it is open to all, courtesy and respect are expected as a minimum. If I have got this post right then you should be able to sign up already from the menu. Anyone signing up agrees to the T&Cs as posted in the Announcements Forum.

Let’s continue to help each other and as always, I wish you all the best with your betting.

Regards

Mark
