Evening All
I often get questions re the sheets and how best to use them. This is a brief walkthrough on how to use them that hopefully will help some followers.
The First Half Goal (FHG) and Second Half Goal (SHG) sheets were built with Inplay goals in mind, ideally toward the latter stages of each half. Hence, we have the breakdown of scoring percentages of each team across each half by time periods. The stats stated are based on the league performance respectively home and away in each fixture over the season in the league.
Important to note that the FHG and SHG sheets are just looking at goals scored and as such does not consider the defensive ability of the opposition. Below is a picture of a fixture from the FHG sheet.
FHG fixture

So, reading the above, from left to right we have the kick off time, the league and the teams involved in the fixture. There are three rows below the main header. The team in the first row is the home side and the team in the second row the away side. The bracketed numbers after each team are their current league position. We display the combined sums/averages of the two in the third row.
You can see the number of games played respectively home and away in the league this season, and the total goals they have scored in those matches. We split the half into 15-minute periods and shows the percentages of goals scored in total for the season in each 15-minute period. By applying these scoring percentages to the numbers of goals scored at home and away to each team. As a result, this gives us a predicted first-half goal total in the final column for each team and then combined value.
Teams score most goals late on in the half when comparing 15 minute periods. So we know that they do not score equitably across all 15 minute periods. If they did the spread of goals would be 16.666667% in each 15 minute period. However, we already know that goals in football do not happen consistently across set time periods for the duration of a game.
So, when looking for late first or second-half goals, my starting point is those fixtures that have over 16.66% in the last 15 mins of each half. As you are all aware the last 15 minutes are usually longer than 15 minutes (due to time added on).
I stress that is the starting point only and many other things to consider Inplay. I hope this helps some find some winners and as always good luck with your betting.
